Kathy Kelsey Foley Kathy Kelsey Foley is the Director of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin, famous for its annual Birds in Art exhibition. The Museum is arguably one of a small number of nature art venues in North America. As director, Kathy is responsible for all aspects of the Museums operation, including development and management of annual budget, maintenance of facility, planning and implementation of exhibition schedule and educational programs, growth of the permanent collection, fundraising, grant preparation, community relations, and supervising staff. Kathy is a summa cum laude graduate of Vassar College and The John Hopkins University, where she received a master’s degree in Art History. In 1979 she became the first director of the Mary & Leigh Block Gallery at Northwestern University. She serves on the board of the Association of Midwest Museums, among others. Kathy and her husband reside in Wausau. |
